Passport Control
After check-in, passengers proceed through passport control (General Directorate of Passport - GDP) and then proceed to the security checkpoint.

Security Checkpoint
Passengers and their luggage undergo security checks before pre-boarding to safeguard the flight's security.
TIP 3
Baggage Screening
All hand luggage undergoes X-ray scanning and metal detection, and Explosive Trace Detector (ETD) scanning.

Accessories
Belts and shoes (in some instances) are removed before passing through security.
TIP 5
Aid Scanning
Pushchairs and walking aids are scanned using X-ray scanners.
TIP 6
Prescription
Passengers carrying medications or metal parts within their body must keep prescriptions accessible in case asked during security checks.

Loose Items
Stow loose items such as mobile phones, wallets, watches, and keys in your hand baggage for scanning.

Laptops
Keep your laptop easily accessible as it will need to be placed in a separate security tray during scanning.

Liquid Limit
Pack liquid containers in a clear, resealable plastic bag within your hand baggage, with each liquid not exceeding 100ml. Exceptions are made for medications, baby milk/foods, and special dietary requirements needed during your trip.
